Esports tournaments in Mumbai this month, only from official sources: BMIC 2026 dates and tickets, café tournaments and how to find more.
Last updated: 31 October 2026. We refresh this page every month.
Looking for esports tournaments in Mumbai you can watch, or even play in? This page lists upcoming events in and around Mumbai that have an official source, like the organiser's own announcement or the venue's page. If we can't find an official source, we leave the event out, even if it's being talked about online.
That makes for a short list this month. November 2026 is quiet for big esports events in Mumbai, right after a huge October. Here's what we can confirm, plus where to find smaller local tournaments.
Big events
BGMI International Cup 2026 (BMIC): final day 1 November
- Game: BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India)
- Organiser: KRAFTON India
- Dates: 30 October to 1 November 2026. The final day is Sunday 1 November.
- Venue: The Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium (NSCI), Worli, Mumbai
- Prize pool: ₹1 crore
- Teams: 16 teams. Six from India, five from South Korea and five from Japan
- Indian teams announced: iQOO SouL, Gladiators Esports, iQOO 8Bit, K9 Esports, Blitz Epigrotive Gaming and Outrage Esports
- Tickets: Sold through District, starting at ₹499. Seating is pre-assigned and every attendee needs a ticket, whatever their age.
- Extra: Alan Walker was announced to perform on the opening day, 30 October.
- Can't go? KRAFTON India streams its events on its YouTube channel.
This is the biggest BGMI event in Mumbai this year, and the champion and runner-up earn places at the 2026 global championship. If you're reading this after 1 November, check KRAFTON India's channels for results.
Going to a live event? What to expect
If you've never been to an esports event in person, here's what we know from the BMIC listing, plus some common sense:
- Book early. Popular sessions sell out, and seating at BMIC was pre-assigned, so the earlier you book the better your seat.
- Every person needs a ticket. For BMIC, District said all attendees need a ticket, regardless of age. Don't assume kids get in free.
- Arrive before the start. For BMIC, gates opened at 11:30 am and matches started at 2 pm. Security checks take time.
- Food is available, but you'll pay venue prices. Food and drinks were listed as available for purchase at BMIC.
- Plan your travel. Paid parking was listed for BMIC, but for big events in Worli or BKC the train plus a short cab ride is often easier.
- Carry a power bank. You'll be on your phone a lot, checking scores and taking videos.
- Keep your ticket on your phone and a screenshot as backup, in case mobile signal is weak inside the venue.
Not in Mumbai: a common mix-up
Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2026: Bangkok
You might see some websites saying the Free Fire World Series finals are in Mumbai this November. According to Garena's official 2026 esports roadmap, the FFWS Global Finals 2026 are in Bangkok, Thailand, across four weekends in November, starting on 6 November. We couldn't find any official source for a Mumbai leg, so we haven't listed one.
Local and café tournaments
Most of the action for regular players happens at gaming cafés. These cafés say on their own websites that they run tournaments. Dates change often, so follow them on Instagram or WhatsApp for the next one:
- Vertigo Gaming Arena (Kharghar and CBD Belapur): Says it runs weekly LAN tournaments, with a competitive PC setup on 240Hz panels. On Gamehood
- Plug N Play Gaming Café (Malad West): Says it holds weekly and monthly PS5 tournaments with prizes and leaderboard challenges.
- Simply Gaming (Andheri and Kandivali): Says it runs regular tournaments in Valorant, FIFA, Call of Duty, Tekken and more. On Gamehood
- Monarch Gaming Lounge (Malad West): Says tournaments are planned but games, dates and prizes aren't set yet. You can join the waitlist on WhatsApp.
- AK Gaming Corner (Jogeshwari West), JB Gaming Lounge (Mumbra) and Downtown Gaming Cafe (Dombivli): List tournaments as an amenity on Gamehood. Ask them for the next date. AK Gaming Corner, JB Gaming Lounge, Downtown Gaming Cafe
You can also check Gamehood's events page for tournaments that cafés and organisers add directly.
Recently finished (for context)
October was busy. Two events that have now ended:
- BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026: KRAFTON India's invite-only tournament for 48 Indian teams, which ran before BMIC. iQOO SouL won it, as reported by The Times of India from KRAFTON's BMIC announcement.
- Honor of Kings International Championship 2026, India Qualifier: Listed by Visit Esports at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from 29 September to 18 October 2026.
How to find tournaments yourself
- Follow the publishers. KRAFTON India (BGMI), Riot Games (Valorant) and EA (EA FC) announce official Indian events on their own channels first.
- Follow local cafés. Café tournaments are the easiest way to start competing. They're also a low-pressure way to see where your skill level stands.
- Check the venue. Big events in Mumbai often happen at NSCI Dome in Worli, the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Jio World Convention Centre in BKC and MMRDA Grounds in BKC.
- Check before you pay. Only buy tickets or pay entry fees through the organiser's official site or official ticketing partner.
Running a tournament?
If you're a café owner or organiser hosting an event in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai or Thane, add it to Gamehood events with a link to your official page. We'll include it in next month's update.
