VR gaming in Mumbai: free-roam arenas and cafés with headsets
By Aamir Khan ·

Where to play VR in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, from Zero Latency's free-roam arena to cafés with PSVR, PS VR2 and Quest headsets, with prices and tips.
VR in Mumbai comes in two very different sizes. At one end, a gaming café hands you a headset for an hour on the PS5. At the other, you strap on a headset and walk around a 2,000 sq ft arena fighting zombies with seven friends. Both are fun, but the price, the experience and who it suits are completely different.
This guide covers both, with what each venue publishes about its setup, timings and prices. If you're still deciding between a gaming café, a lounge and a VR zone in general, our explainer on the differences is a good place to start. This post is about where to actually go.
Everything was checked on 31 October 2026. VR venues run a lot of limited-time offers, so check the live price when you book.
The two kinds of VR
Headset VR at a café. You sit or stand in a small area wearing a headset such as PS VR2, PSVR or a Meta Quest. You play games like a regular console session. It's cheaper, available by the hour, and a good way to find out whether you enjoy VR at all.
Free-roam VR at an arena. You walk around a large open room in a headset, usually with a group, and the game world maps onto the space. It's much more physical and social, but it's sold in short sessions and costs a lot more per minute.
Free-roam VR arenas
Zero Latency (Lower Parel)
Zero Latency is the best-known free-roam VR arena in Mumbai. It's in the Mathurdas Mills Compound at Todi Mills, Lower Parel, next to Levi's Lounge.
- Space and group size: About 2,000 sq ft of play space, with up to 8 players at a time, according to its FAQ.
- Price per person (from its pricing page):
| When | 15 min | 30 min | 45 min |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon to Thu (2 pm to 11 pm), Fri (2 pm to 4:45 pm) | ₹999 | ₹1,899 | ₹2,799 |
| Fri after 5 pm, weekends and public holidays | ₹1,049 | ₹1,999 | ₹2,899 |
18% GST is extra. Zero Latency adds about 15 minutes on top for a safety briefing and debrief, so a 30-minute game takes about 45 minutes in all. Its FAQ page shows different, lower prices, so confirm the price when you book.
- Hours: 2 pm to 11 pm on weekdays, 12 pm to 11 pm on weekends and public holidays.
- Age: 8 and above. Under-18s are advised to play with parental supervision.
- Booking tip: It says sessions are released 4 to 6 weeks in advance, so book early for a weekend group.
Parabolica (Andheri West)
Parabolica on New Link Road, opposite Citi Mall, combines free-roam VR with F1 simulators. Its BookMyShow listing shows arena-scale free-roam VR from ₹1,299. It also ran a Diwali combo at ₹1,199 for 30 minutes of free-roam VR plus 15 F1 laps, from 30 October to 4 November 2026, with a minimum age of 8.
If your group can't decide between racing and VR, this is the one.
Laser & Light (Andheri and Bandra)
Laser & Light has VR games and a VR free-roam arena, alongside laser tag, F1 simulators and arcade games. It has branches in Bandra West and Andheri, and says it's open daily from 12 pm to 9 pm. It's set up for birthdays and family outings, so it's a safe pick for a group with kids.
Mall arcades
Big arcade chains also have VR rides. For example, Timezone at R City Mall in Ghatkopar West lists a VR 9D simulator and Virtual Rabbids, a two-player VR ride. These are short, ride-style experiences rather than full games, but they're easy to try while you're at the mall.
Gaming cafés with VR headsets
These are cheaper and more relaxed. Most cafés have only one or two headsets, so call ahead.
INVADE Gaming Cafe (Sanpada)
INVADE is the only café in our research that publishes a VR price on its own website: ₹200/hour for PSVR. It's opposite Juinagar station and also has PCs, PS5s and sim racing rigs, so the rest of your group won't be bored.

Tips before your first VR session
- Eat lightly beforehand. If you're prone to motion sickness, a heavy meal makes it worse.
- Start short. Book the shortest slot the first time. If you feel dizzy or sick, take the headset off and rest. It passes, but pushing through doesn't help.
- Mention your glasses. Many headsets can be worn over glasses, but fit varies. Tell the staff before you start so they can adjust it.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Especially for free-roam, where you'll move around a lot.
- Ask about hygiene. It's fair to ask whether face covers are cleaned or replaced between players.
- Check age rules for kids. Zero Latency and Parabolica's combo both set a minimum age of 8. Cafés may have their own rules.
