GTA V runs on café PCs and PS5s. Mumbai and Navi Mumbai cafés with GTA V or PC and PS5 setups, what to check before you go, and what to play.

GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026, but only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Until then, and probably for a while after if your café's PS5s are fully booked, GTA V is the way to play GTA with your friends.

The good news is that GTA V runs on almost everything a gaming café has: PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox. GTA Online is still getting new content in 2026, too. This guide lists cafés in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai where you can play it, explains what to check before you go, and suggests how to spend your sessions while you wait. Details were checked on 2 November 2026.

Why GTA V is still worth playing in 2026

  • It runs on café PCs. GTA 6 doesn't, but GTA V runs on PC as well as PS5, PS4 and Xbox.
  • GTA Online is the only multiplayer GTA. GTA 6 is single-player at launch. If your group wants to do heists together, GTA Online is where you'll do it.
  • New content keeps coming. The Kortz Center Heist arrived in July 2026, and Rockstar ran a month-long Halloween event through to 4 November (Rockstar Newswire).
  • The story is a great warm-up. Michael, Franklin and Trevor's story still holds up, and the controls will feel familiar when you get to Vice City.

Cafés with GTA V on their Gamehood listing

These cafés already list GTA V in their games on Gamehood. Game lists can change, so call to confirm.

Gamebox Cafe in Oshiwara and GenZ Gaming Zone in Govandi are the closest picks for the western and eastern suburbs. GenZ's PS5 rate is one of the lowest we've found. Vertigo in Belapur is the pick for PC players. It has a big PC floor with RTX 4070 machines and 240Hz screens, according to its website, so the whole group can play GTA Online together. PLAYNATION in Thane is the biggest PS5 room on the list.

More cafés with PC or PS5 setups

These cafés have PCs or PS5s, but GTA V isn't in their Gamehood game list yet. It's widely installed, but ask before you go.

PC or PS5: which is better for GTA V?

  • PC is best for groups. Each friend gets their own screen, so you can all join the same GTA Online session. Rockstar says the free Enhanced PC version adds ray-traced lighting (Stevivor). You'll need a Rockstar Games account.
  • PS5 is best for the story on a big TV, with DualSense haptics. GTA Online on PS5 needs a PlayStation Plus subscription, which the café's account may or may not have, so ask.
  • PS4 still runs GTA V and GTA Online, but newer GTA Online features such as Hao's Special Works cars and Career Progress are only on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Before you go: call ahead and ask

  1. Is GTA V installed on the setup I'm booking? Don't assume, especially on PS5.
  2. Can I sign in to my own account? On PC, logging in to your own Rockstar account means your GTA Online character and progress stay with you. Always log out when you leave.
  3. Is GTA Online available? On consoles, it needs the café's PlayStation Plus or Xbox subscription to be active.
  4. What are the group rates? Four friends on four PCs can cost less per person with packs or happy hours.

What to play while you wait for GTA 6

  • Replay the story. It takes around 30 hours, so a few café sessions get you through the best heists.
  • Try The Kortz Center Heist. Released in July 2026, it lets up to four players scope out and rob an art museum in Pacific Bluffs. You'll need a Mansion to host it, but friends can join yours (Rockstar Newswire).
  • Do classic heists with friends. Rockstar now pays a weekly first-completion bonus on several older heists, too.
  • Drive around Los Santos one more time. It's a good way to say goodbye before you move to Vice City.
