Where to play GTA 6 in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai (no PS5 needed)

GTA 6 finally arrives on 19 November 2026, and a lot of people in Mumbai have the same problem: they don't own the console it runs on. Grand Theft Auto VI is out only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It won't run on a PS4, and Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version.

If you've been playing GTA V on a PS4 or a laptop, that leaves you two choices on launch day: spend on a new console, or play at a gaming café that already has PS5s. This guide covers the second option. It lists cafés in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with PS5 setups, explains what to ask before you go, and shares a few tips for launch week.

One important note before the list: no café on this page has told us it will have GTA 6 on day one. Every café buys and installs games on its own schedule. Call ahead before you travel. Café details were checked on 2 November 2026.

Why play GTA 6 at a gaming café?

• No PS5, no problem. GTA 6 needs a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. A café session costs a fraction of a new console.
• Try before you buy. Standard Edition pre-orders cost ₹5,999 on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store in India. Playing a few hours first tells you whether it's worth it for you. Our GTA 6 launch explainer covers editions and prices.
• Big screen, good sound. Most PS5 cafés use large TVs and comfortable seating, which suits a cinematic Rockstar game.
• Play with friends around you. GTA 6 is single-player at launch, but it's still fun to take turns, watch each other's missions and argue over the best getaway car.

These cafés have PS5 setups listed on Gamehood or confirmed by their own website or business listing. Prices are only shown where the café publishes them.

Western suburbs: Andheri to Borivali

Andheri and Oshiwara. Simply Gaming in Andheri West has PS5 screens you can book online, at ₹100 an hour when we checked. In Oshiwara, Gamebox Cafe lists three PS5s on Gamehood, and GTA V is already in its game list, so it's a good one to ask about GTA 6. In Marol, both CHUMS Gaming Arena and Score Gaming Lounge have PS5s, and Pixel Gaming Lounge in Saki Naka offers PS5 and PC.

Vile Parle. Gamer's Street is one of the bigger console rooms nearby. Its website lists seven PS5s, so your chances of getting a slot on launch weekend are better here than at a one-console café.

Goregaon to Borivali. Next Level Gaming Goregaon, both Kandivali cafés (Simply Gaming, which lists 4K 120Hz TVs, and Pacific Gaming) and Knockout Gaming in Borivali all have PS5 setups. Knockout publishes PS5 at ₹150 an hour. For more on this stretch, read our Borivali to Goregaon guide.

Central and eastern suburbs: Powai to Chembur

Nexora Gaming Lounge in Chandivali lists four PS5s on Gamehood, plus a PC room. Further east, Exogos Gamezone in Vikhroli, Mini PS Gaming Station in Ghatkopar East and The Sports Foundry in Bhandup all have PS5s.

Navi Mumbai

LEVEL UP! in Kopar Khairane publishes PS5 rates by controller: ₹100 an hour for one, up to ₹280 for four. Vertigo Esports in CBD Belapur charges ₹140 an hour for a PS5 with two controllers, and INVADE Gaming Cafe in Sanpada lists PS5 at ₹100 an hour. Call ahead: what to ask

GTA 6 is a new release, so don't assume a café will have it on 19 November. Ask these questions on the phone or on WhatsApp:

1. Will you have GTA 6, and from which day? Some cafés buy a game on launch day, others wait.
2. How many PS5s will have it installed? One copy may be on only one console.
3. Is there a time limit per group on launch weekend? Popular cafés sometimes cap sessions.
4. Can I continue my save next time? Saves are tied to the PlayStation account the game was played on. Ask whether the café uses one account per console and whether your progress will still be there when you return.
5. What's the price per hour, and per controller? Rates change, so confirm before you book.

Launch week tips

• Book early. Launch weekend (Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November) will be the busiest. Reserve a slot as soon as the café confirms it has the game.
• Go on a weekday if you can. Weekday afternoons are usually quieter than evenings and weekends.
• Book at least two hours. The opening missions and your first drive around Vice City take a while. A one-hour slot will feel short.
• Bring your own headset if the café allows it. GTA is as much about the radio and dialogue as the driving.
• It's rated 18+. Cafés may ask younger players to pick another game.
