Fall Guys is a party game by Mediatonic, published by Epic Games. It launched in August 2020 and became free-to-play in 2022. Dozens of jelly-bean shaped players compete through a series of chaotic mini-game rounds, and each round eliminates some players until one is crowned the winner. Rounds are like a TV game show obstacle course. Races across spinning platforms, tail-grabbing games, team games like football and egg collecting, survival rounds on falling tiles, and memory tests. Each round is short and silly, and the bean characters bounce and tumble in ridiculous ways when hit. Fall Guys is a friendly choice for mixed groups at a gaming cafe. There is no violence, the controls are just move, jump, dive and grab, and anyone can win a round with some luck. You can queue as a squad, so friends at neighbouring stations can play together and compete or help each other. Setup PC, PS5, Switch or mobile, with a controller. Cross-play means friends on different devices can join the same party. You will need an Epic Games account. Tips for beginners Avoid the crowd in race rounds; people bunch up and knock each other off. Use the dive to cross gaps and get extra speed at the finish. In survival rounds, stay in the middle of the map. In team games, cooperate with your squad. Session length A full show, from the first round to the final, takes around 10 to 15 minutes. An hour gives a group several games, and since Fall Guys is so light, groups often play in between more intense games. Who should play Kids, families, friend groups who want a laugh, and anyone who wants a game that is easy to learn. It is rated E, so it is suitable for all ages.
