Assassin's Creed Mirage
Ubisoft Bordeaux · Ubisoft Entertainment
Assassin's Creed Mirage is Ubisoft Bordeaux's 2023 action-adventure game. It is set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age and follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a young street thief who joins the Hidden Ones, the brotherhood that later becomes the Assassins. Fans of Assassin's Creed Valhalla will recognise Basim, who appears in that game. Mirage is a return to the series' roots. After several huge RPG-style games, it focuses on stealth, parkour and assassinations in a single, dense city. You blend into crowds, climb rooftops, and plan your approach to each target. The game is smaller and more focused, which many fans enjoyed. Basim has tools like throwing knives, smoke bombs and noise makers. Assassination targets have multiple ways to reach them, letting you plan your approach. Playing it at a gaming cafe Mirage is played alone, but it remains a good one for a cafe session because it is shorter than most Assassin's Creed games. You can finish a lot of it in a few visits. Setup PS5 or PC. A big screen shows off the city. Rated M. First-session advice Use Eagle Vision to spot enemies. Blend into crowds to avoid detection. Climb to high points to get a view of the area. Use tools to distract or eliminate guards. Plan your approach to major assassinations. Planning your time The main story takes about 15 hours. A two-hour session covers the opening and the start of Basim's story in Baghdad. Is it for you? Fans of classic Assassin's Creed games, stealth fans, and anyone interested in the history of Baghdad.
