Diablo IV

Blizzard Entertainment · Blizzard Entertainment

Diablo IV is Blizzard Entertainment's 2023 action RPG and the latest in the long-running Diablo series. It returns to a darker tone than Diablo III. Lilith, the Mother of Sanctuary, has been summoned back to the world, and you play as a wanderer trying to stop her as demons spread across the land. The core of Diablo is simple and addictive: kill demons, collect loot, upgrade your gear, repeat. Diablo IV adds a large open world with regions to explore, dungeons, world bosses and events. You choose a class, such as Barbarian, Sorcerer, Rogue, Druid or Necromancer, and the Vessel of Hatred expansion in 2024 added the Spiritborn. Diablo IV runs seasons with new mechanics, quests and rewards. Many players return each season to create new characters and race through the content. Why it is great with friends Diablo IV supports online co-op for up to four players, and couch co-op for two players on the same console. That makes it a good game for two friends sharing a screen at a cafe, slaying demons together. Where to play it PS5 or PC. On PS5, couch co-op with two controllers is easy. You need a Battle.net account. Rated M. Beginner pointers Pick a class you find fun; all can finish the game. Upgrade your gear often; loot is everywhere. Use the skill tree to focus on a few key skills. Do dungeons for extra rewards. Join world events with other players. Session length The campaign takes about 20 to 30 hours. A one-hour session is enough to make progress, and two hours is a good session for co-op. Best for Fans of action RPGs, friends who want couch co-op, and anyone who loves loot.
