WWE 2K24

Visual Concepts · 2K

WWE 2K24 is the 2024 edition of Visual Concepts' wrestling series. Its Showcase mode celebrates 40 Years of WrestleMania, letting you relive and recreate famous moments from the biggest event in wrestling history, across many generations of stars. 2K24 brought new match types to the series. Ambulance and Casket matches returned, Gauntlet matches let a wrestler face opponents one after another, and Special Guest Referee lets a player be the referee, deciding when to count and when to look away. That last one is perfect for a group, because it adds a whole new way to mess with your friends. Other modes return from previous years: MyRISE story campaigns, MyGM brand management, MyFACTION card collecting and Universe mode for booking your own wrestling shows. At the cafe Up to four players can play locally on one console. Tag team matches and Fatal 4-Way are great starting points. If you come with a big group, take turns in a tournament bracket with winners advancing. Setup PS5 is the most common setup, with up to four controllers. PS4 and PC versions are also available. Beginner tips Learn the reversal timing, as it is the most important skill in the game. Use the new super finishers when you have built up enough meter; they are devastating. Weapons are more varied in 2K24, so look under the ring in no-disqualification matches. And if you are refereeing, remember you can be bribed, distracted or attacked. Typical session A standard match lasts five to fifteen minutes, depending on settings. An hour gives a group of four several matches; two hours lets you run a mini-event. Who should play Wrestling fans, nostalgia lovers who want to relive WrestleMania history, and groups who enjoy loud, dramatic couch multiplayer. Rated T.
