Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios' 2023 space RPG, the studio's first new universe in decades. It is set in the year 2330 in a region of the galaxy called the Settled Systems. You play as a miner who touches a mysterious artifact, which leads you to join Constellation, a group of explorers searching for the truth behind these objects. Starfield is a game about freedom. You can explore many star systems, land on planets, scan wildlife and resources, build outposts, join factions, and design your own spaceship piece by piece. Ship building is one of its most loved features, letting you create anything from a small fighter to a large cargo hauler. Combat includes gunfights on foot, with zero-gravity fights in some places, and ship-to-ship space combat. Factions like the United Colonies, the Freestar Collective and the Crimson Fleet each have long questlines. At a cafe Starfield is a single-player game, and it is very long. A cafe session is good for trying it out, or for spending a few hours building ships on a powerful PC. Hardware A PC with a strong GPU, or Xbox Series X|S. It is a demanding game on PC. Rated M. Upgrade your ship at spaceports. Do faction quests for some of the best stories. How long to book The main story takes 30 to 40 hours, and much more with side content.
